clarification for the parents on fundraising

Posted by gvteam on August 25, 2009

A clarification for the parents on fundraising:

  • Billed on individual accounts are meet fees and team dues. If they are doing a fundraiser to offset the cost of their travel, that money will not be applied to the account. we are not a bank and will not cut checks to help them travel.
  • If the money fundraised is to offset the cost of team dues/meet fees then it will be applied to the account.  When team Dues and meet fees are paid all other money that comes in for that person will go into the pot for coaches’ expense.
  • One More Clarification if you are doing personal fundraising to offset travel cost do not submit the money to the team. It might be easier to pay off meet fees and dues first then move onto saving for travel
